You’re almost there!

Please review and accept the following policy (“waiver”) that outlines your participation at the Coquihalla Retreat (“Retreat”).

This Retreat is not intended or implied to serve as medical or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. With this waiver, you certify that you are medically, physically, mentally, emotionally, and in all respects fit and able to participate in this event, and have no medical requirements or conditions except what is outlined in the Retreat Wellness Questionaire. 

We recommend you have appropriate travel and health insurance and access to any/all prescription medications. You agree you will be fully and financially responsible for your own physical condition and well-being during the retreat and will follow the safety precautions and instructions prescribed by the Coquihalla Instructors (“Instructors”) at the Retreat. 

You acknowledge that Instructors may make suggestions that are intended to help you, however, you take ultimate responsibility for your choices and realize that the Instructors are not licensed medical providers and that you must consult your doctor. If you experience pain or discomfort during the retreat, you may modify the instructions to suit your needs. You will not hold Coquihalla or its instructors responsible for any pain or discomfort you experience during or after the retreat. You understand that the activities offered on this retreat are not a substitute for medical care and understand that instructors are not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat physical or mental illness.

As an attendee of the retreat, you are liable for any belongings you bring with you.  

We reserve the right to take any Videos, Photographs, and Audio content during the Retreat, and as a result of your participation in these Services, you may be included in such Footage. In case you wish to not be a part of any Footage, please let us know in writing at least 7 in advance of the retreat start date.

You acknowledge that no deposits, partial payments, or refunds shall be granted under any circumstances and you Coquihalla are not responsible for opting out of the retreat for any reason. Please refer to the cancellation policy for details on refunds, reschedules, and cancellations. 

Coquihalla will not be held liable for, and you hereby fully waive the right to claim for, any loss, injury, death, or damages of any kind resulting in any way at the Retreat, relating to Coquihalla or any third party providing you with services. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation at the Retreat and shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Coquihalla and its subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, licensors, suppliers, service providers, employees, and representatives (the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action, losses, expenses, damages and/or liabilities, including reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs, incurred by the Indemnified Parties in any way. You hereby claim that you, your assignees, your heirs, distributes, guardians, and legal representatives will not make any claims against Indemnified Parties. You must cooperate as requested by Coquihalla in the defense of such claims. 

We hereby disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties as to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. 

Please note that any terms not otherwise defined in this Waiver shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Terms or Privacy Policy.

You acknowledge that have read carefully and understood this agreement with Coquihalla Mindfulness Inc. and sign it of your own free will. With this signature, you also accept that you are above the age of 18 years old. 

In the rare event a participant does not sign or return this retreat waiver, the participants’ deposit and/or payment shall constitute an understanding of the above terms.
